in our delightful 17th century cottage situated on the
Norfolk/Suffolk border, within easy reach of the historic city of
Norwich, the beautiful Norfolk Broads and the Suffolk heritage
coastline
Our guest accommodation consists of Two double rooms and One twin room en-suite each with Coffee/Tea-making facilities. Guests are invited to use the Television lounge and Sun room. Ample parking is available. We serve "Full traditional English Breakfast" with free range eggs and local sausages, served in our oak beamed dining room. Excellent evening meals are served at the local public house The Kings Head, Woodton, which is within easy walking distance (200 yards) |
| Frequent buses run through
Woodton village to the historic city of Norwich (10 miles) and to
the picturesque town of Bungay (5 miles) with its ancient castle
and many antique shops.
The village of Woodton is situated close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Many delightful places are within easy distance and can be accessed by bicycle, car or public transport. The historic and beautiful city of Norwich with its 900 year Norman Cathedral, Castle Keep and colourful market place. Norwich city centre boasts a blend of ancient and modern - cobble streets, of which Elm Hill is the most famous, Georgian town houses, over 30 flint churches and many museums, alongside the ultra-modern Castle Mall shopping centre and all the major high street outlets, department stores and specialist shops including the famous Colmans Mustard Shop. |
